Reinforcement Unlimited has been serving children and adolescents with clinical and  behavioral needs since 1996.  We specialize in providing consultation on issues related to clinical psychology, developmental disabilities, behavioral neuroscience, verbal behavior, and applied behavior analysis.  We work directly with adults to improve the opportunities for children and adolescents to learn in safe and positive environments.  We also provide critical review and consultation on existing programs regarding their effectiveness and whether they meet professional standards.

Robert W. Montgomery, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Board Certified Behavior Analyst


Dr. Robert Montgomery has over two decades of  experience working with diverse populations across a range of  settings. His experience is truly with the developmental process of the person having trained in and worked with people from toddlers to geriatrics.  He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst as well as traditional licensed clinical psychologist.  Dr. Montgomery has  served on the Board of Directors of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment.  He also served on  the original American Psychological Association Task Force on Empirically Validated Treatments, on the Alabama Behavior Analysis Peer Review Committee, and as Chair of the Clinical Behavior Analysis Interest Group of the Association for Behavior Analysis.  He has published in a variety of professional journals on such applied topics as compliance training, medication effects on developing brains,  reduction of aggression, and overcorrection. He has also taught clinical and behavioral courses at Argosy, Auburn, and Georgia State Universities. Dr. Montgomery is currently licensed as a psychologist in Georgia and is one of only two ACE providers for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board™ in Georgia.  His entire c.v. is available for download in Adobe Acrobat pfd format.

Christine Rogers Montgomery, Ph.D.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Dr. Christine Montgomery has over fifteen years experience working with students in a variety of settings. Her clinical experience includes certification as a Cognitive Therapist, working with students with hearing impairments, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity disorders, head injuries and neurologically-based disabilities, and a range of learning disabilities. She has extensive experience assessing children and adolescents across environments, including at home, in school, and in various medical settings (e.g., Univ of MS Medical School, Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, etc.). Dr. Montgomery has published in several professional journals on a variety of issues. Her dissertation was in the area of Learning Disabilities and her doctorate is in Behavioral Neuroscience from Georgia State University.  Dr. Montgomery is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Joseph L. Cermak, M.S.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Mr. Cermak received his masters degree in Behavior Analysis, from the University of North Texas.  He has extensive experience teaching behavior analysis at the university level and in teaching new behavior analysis graduate students how to teach behavior analysis.  He has provided in-home ABA services to children on the autism spectrum with the Wisconsin Early Autism Project.  In addition to his experience working in home-based programs, Joe has experience working with children and adolescents in center-based programs and consulting to schools.  He also routinely conducts functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for parents and schools.  Mr. Cermak currently co-teaches our Parent Verbal Therapist 10-week seminar series and is  taking boards this month for board certification in behavior analysis.  Mr. Cermak is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Meredith Ouimette, M.A.

Ms. Ouimette has been teaching children with Autism since 1999.  She is a certified special education teacher in North Carolina and Pennsylvania with extensive experience as an Elementary and Pre-Kindergarten teacher focusing on language delays and autism spectrum issues.  She has worked in self-contained, regular education, and mainstreaming programs and has facilitated the development of ESY programs for children on the Autism Spectrum.  Ms. Ouimette also has experience and training with American Sign Language and PECS™ as alternative communication systems for children on the Autism Spectrum.  She recently completed the graduate courses at Pennsylvania State University in Applied Behavior Analysis and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

A variety of senior university-based consultants are available through Reinforcement Unlimited on an as needed basis.

Our passion at Reinforcement Unlimited is to improve the lives of children by using scientifically validated procedures.  In each consultation our focus is on making behavioral and educational change recommendations in order to significantly improve the  quality of life of the child and those involved in the child's life.  In addition we provide individual assessments and evaluations, training and consultation for individual children who exhibit limited skill repertoires and/or severe problem behavior.  We also conduct workshops and individualized training sessions for parents, teachers, trainers, psychologists, SLPs, and administrators nationwide.  We are now offering Mentoring or Supervision toward meeting the requirements for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis.

Our Mission is to improve the immediate situation while providing information and skills development for lasting  change.   Reinforcement Unlimited consultants posses a unique blend of training as behavior analysts and traditional psychologists.
