Reinforcement Unlimited, LLC has been serving children and adolescents with clinical and  behavioral needs in Georgia since 1996.  We specialize in providing consultation on issues related to clinical psychology, developmental disabilities, behavioral neuroscience, verbal behavior, and applied behavior analysis.  We work directly with adults to improve the opportunities for children and adolescents to learn in safe and positive environments.  We also provide critical review and consultation on existing programs regarding their effectiveness and whether they meet professional standards.

Robert W. Montgomery, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral

Dr. Robert Montgomery has decades of  experience working with diverse populations across a range of  settings. His experience is truly with the developmental process of the person - having trained in and worked with people from toddlers to geriatrics.  He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University, completed Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center & Jackson VAMC, and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychology at the Georgia Mental Health Institute.  He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral, Certified Cognitive Therapist, as well as traditional licensed clinical psychologist.  Dr. Montgomery has  served on the Board of Directors of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment.  He also served on  the original American Psychological Association Task Force on Empirically Validated Treatments, on the Alabama Behavior Analysis Peer Review Committee, and as Chair of the Clinical Behavior Analysis Interest Group of the Association for Behavior Analysis International .  He has published in a variety of professional journals on such applied topics as compliance training, medication effects on developing brains, reduction of aggression, and overcorrection. He has also taught clinical and behavioral courses at Argosy, Auburn, and Georgia State Universities.  Dr. Montgomery is currently licensed as a psychologist in Georgia and the first ACE provider for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board™ in Georgia.  His entire c.v. is available for download in Adobe Acrobat pfd format.

Christine Rogers Montgomery, Ph.D.
Behavioral Neuroscientist
Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral

Dr. Christine Montgomery has over fifteen years experience working with students in a variety of settings. Her clinical experience includes certification as a Cognitive Therapist, working with students with hearing impairments, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity disorders, head injuries and neurologically-based disabilities, and a range of learning disabilities. She has extensive experience assessing children and adolescents across environments, including at home, in school, and in various medical settings (e.g., Univ of MS Medical School, Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, etc.). Dr. Montgomery has published in several professional journals on a variety of issues. Her dissertation was in the area of Learning Disabilities, with a focus on Reading, and her doctorate is in Behavioral Neuroscience from Georgia State University.  Dr. Montgomery is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral.  Dr. Montgomery routinely volunteers at several local schools.


Lauren T. Withhart, M.S., BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Ms. Withhart has over ten years of experience working with students with Autism and related disorders.  Her clinical experience includes working in home, school, hospital, and community settings.  She obtained her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University and obtained her BCBA in 2005.  She is one of the originally licensed Behavior Analysts in the State of Maryland.  She was a behavior analyst at The Kennedy Krieger Institute of Johns Hopkins University in Maryland where she led programs post discharge for patients with severe behavior disorders.  She also has worked consulting and providing program supervision for children on the Autism Spectrum in homes, schools, and the community for over ten years.

A variety of senior university-based consultants are available through Reinforcement Unlimited, LLC on an as needed basis.

Our passion at Reinforcement Unlimited, LLC is to improve the lives of children by using scientifically validated procedures.  In each consultation our focus is on making behavioral and educational change recommendations in order to significantly improve the  quality of life of the child and those involved in the child's life.  In addition we provide individual assessments and evaluations, training and consultation for individual children who exhibit limited skill repertoires and/or severe problem behavior.  We also conduct workshops and individualized training sessions for parents, teachers, trainers, psychologists, SLPs, and administrators nationwide.  We are now offering Mentoring or Supervision toward meeting the requirements for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis.

Our Mission is to improve the immediate situation while providing information and skills development for lasting  change.   Reinforcement Unlimited, LLC consultants posses a unique blend of training as behavior analysts and traditional psychologists. To further assist you in understanding how we may be able to help you meet your goals we have included a variety of resources, including complete c.v.'s on our consultants.


All consultants and therapists are responsible for their own maintenance of professional standards and adherence to the policies and procedures of the relevant accrediting board, licensure board, professional association, and any governmental regulations relating to the practice of their individual and specific profession(s) and duties.  Each consultant and therapist is also responsible for maintenance of their credentials and any applicable insurance relating to the practice of their profession.  Reinforcement Unlimited, LLC does not directly employ consultants or therapists but acts as a contracting agency with independent professionals and therapists by coordinating scheduling and billing for their services.  All Consultants have signed a HIPAA business associate agreement (BAA) under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. The contract protects personal health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
